Well, this is going to be short and sweet. I've been racing around all day trying to get everything together so I can leave for a few weeks. For those of you who don't know I've been given the opportunity to go on an AIDS/HIV Learning Tour with MCC. I'm pretty excited about the whole thing. We're going to India from the 5th until the 15th of March and then heading to Ethiopia until March 23rd, we'll finish up with a bit of debrief in London and then I'll be back home in lovely Saskatoon on the 25th. It should be quiete a whirlwind of a trip but I'm very excited! We are going to see the work that MCC is doing in these countries and to try to understand the AIDS pandemic that is sweeping not only Africa but starting to be quite a threat to India too. I think I have a lot to learn. I don't really know what to expect, I'm ready to be challenged and inspired by the lives of the people we meet and I'm excited to see how my work at home can be connected to these places. So if you think of it you can offer up a little prayer and feel free to e-mail me. There's just something special about personal e-mails when you are in a strange little internet cafe. I probably won't write in this blog for a few weeks but I am writing in a work blog so you can find it by going to the MCC Saskatchewan website
(www.mcc.org/sask). So ya, that's pretty much what I have to say. I have a few more things to get done tonight so I should be on my way...
